1934 Ford Sedan US Army Staff Car. Precise 1:18 scale die-cast vehicle is manufactured by Solido (France) in their high-end Prestige series. Has US Army overseas markings (star in circle). Front doors open and the steering works. The vehicle has a detailed exterior, interior and undercarriage. Although a sedan, it had a fabric top that could be opened (like a suntroof today).

Staff cars such as this were used mainly at domestic bases (commanders of Ft Benning units particularly favored Ford V-8 sedans and convertibles). However, some commanders insisted that their staff cars be shipped to Europe rather than using the quirky British Humber Snipe or Vauxhall Series JI.

This die-cast car is Mint in the original box (although the blue color on the top of the box is quite worn). Stock no. 10015.

Packing and shipping is based on a weight of 3 pounds and is only my out-of-pocket cost. I pack and ship the same day payment is received. I'm not like some Internet sellers who build big profits into shipping and screw the buyer.
